Awesome Bands You Should Know About

This is my first post for this blog and it is also the first time I have ever written anything that wasn’t for school, so expect me to mess up a few times. I decided to share some music you should all should definitely check out.

Magic Milk

This band is fun to listen and jump around to. They describe themselves as “A new band about diss-apointment and terrible friends…. that you can dance to.” They have a couple of releases including their new track “Mellows.” Over all of their releases, they have plenty of awesome songs like, “So So Cool”, “Lights Out Party”, “Drives Me Wild”, and “w/you.” One thing I love about this band is how much fun they have when they play live. Their newest record can be downloaded below, while the first one can be downloaded at this link:

Dante Elephante

This 6-track EP “German Aquatics” was released in mid-spring and I just love it. It’s like a mixture of indie rock and surf pop. The music is very fun and full of energy. I can’t even imagine it live. It starts strong with the song “All the Time” and ends just as strong with “Home Again.” This ep is a must get, especially with it only being one dollar.

Hipster Death Squad

This 6-track album is great! It has an electric indie rock sound to it, and all the songs are varied. It makes me want to keep listening and I just don’t get bored of it. My favorite song is “Blood In the Sand.” It is very mellow and I can listen to it over and over again. The first two songs “Survivors” and “Gimme More” also stand out to me. They are very catchy. Did I mention that this is free? Amazing. Free. Music. How much better could it get?
